My Travel Essentials

With the holidays quickly approaching and being in a long distance relationship, I'm doing a lot of traveling in the next six weeks with four round-trip flights. Since I will be at the airport a lot due to all these flights, I thought I would write about my must-have travel essentials!

1. Blanket scarf - I don't know about y'all but I'm basically always cold so here comes the handy dandy blanket scarf! I'll be traveling up to Kansas City and Chicago where it is a lot colder than Houston so a blanket scarf is a necessity to keep me warm both in the airport and while out and about. I recently went to Target and stocked up on four new blanket scarves from their dollar section!

The Real Reason Why I Left Disney

Something I get asked often when I tell someone I used to work at Disney World is "Why did you leave Disney?" Then they continue to go on how it must have been so cool, so ~magical~, and I was probably a princess. Yeah, it was cool, it was sometimes magical, and no, I was not a princess. Truth be told, I wasn't getting the experience I needed.

My All Time Favorite Beauty Products

love makeup. It's one of my favorite things to buy and I love experimenting with new products. If you have been to my current apartment or old house in Florida, you would know that I have the Alex drawers from Ikea to hold all my beauty products. So to say that I love makeup is actually an understatement. I get asked all the time about what products I use so I decided to list my ride or die products! I plan on making a video of my current makeup routine in the near future so be on the lookout for that!

1. L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation -Trying new foundations is sometimes a hassle because I hate figuring out what shade to buy. I've tried everything from Fenty to Lancome to drugstore brands and this is the foundation I always go back to. I have combination skin, so an oily t-zone and dry cheeks, and this foundation is perfect for me. The shade range isn't the best but I currently use the shade 202 Creamy Natural, 201 Classic Ivory when I'm super pale, and 203 Nude Beige when I'm self-tanned. I offset the extreme dewiness with a setting powder and it makes my skin look flawless!

Instagram Outfit Roundup

If you follow me on Insta, you've already seen all of these already. But as I'm trying to get back into fashion posts and get asked often where I get my clothes, I linked all my favorite outfits from the last month-ish! If the company no longer sell the items, I linked something similar.

My Teeth Whitening Experience & A Giveaway!

As a lot of you guys may know, I have a slight addiction to Diet Coke and iced coffee. As much as I love the caffeine fix, I don't love how much they have stained my teeth over the years. I've legit tried almost everything except getting my teeth professionally whitened by my dentist and an at-home teeth whitening kit such as Smile Brilliant. So when I was reached out to by Smile Brilliant, I knew I had to hop on this!

To My People

It's the day before I start my move to Houston and I've been dreading writing this post all week because I know this means that my move is officially real and happening. This post is for the people who became my people. These people have made my day a little brighter and made me laugh a little harder. They taught me the true value of friendship and have given me some of the best memories I will always cherish.

23 Life Lessons I've Learned by 23

A few weeks ago, I turned 23. It's honestly something that is very weird for me to think about. I've always associated this age with being basically a real adult but I'm not quite there yet. When I was a kid, I thought I would be married by 23 yet here I am, 23 and not married which is 110% fine by me. Right now, my 20's is all about learning more about myself and trying to figure out what I want in life. It's about making mistakes and using life experiences to shape me into the person I want to become. So here are 23 life lessons I've learned by my 23rd birthday!

What It's Really Like to Work at Disney World

I already failed this 2018 goal for myself but I, once again, found my self in a blogging rut. There are so many things I want to blog about but I want to make sure I'm posting genuine content that I feel good about. This post has been in the works for a week or so and I feel like now is the right time to post it.

I often times get asked, "what is it like working at Disney World?". Depending on who asked me the question, my answer varies a bit. To some, I say it's the best place ever. To others, I'm a bit more realistic and honest. I try to be an open book on here because that is what my readers are interested in. I try not to beat around the bush, so here's what it is really like to work at the most magical place on Earth.

2017 and 2018

It's been a hot minute since I posted on here. Work basically took over my life the week of Christmas and New Years and things just started to slow down recently. I also wanted to take a bit to reflect on 2017 and what I want to accomplish in 2018.

2017 was a year full of change, new experiences, and I learned a lot about myself as cliche as that sounds. I am super grateful that I graduated college and moved down to Florida to start a new chapter in my life. I can honestly say that moving down here has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've made some of the best friends that I've ever had and have the best job ever. But 2017 also brought some not so great moments but I'm not even going to bother going into those since they are in the past. Like Rafiki said, "Oh yes, the past can hurt, but you can either run from it or learn from it." I sure as hell learned from it.
